Anupam Shrivastava is a senior bureaucrat and former CMD of BSNL. He is1981 batch of Indian Telecom Service (ITS) Officer. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of telecommunications. He took over as CMD, BSNL in January, 2015 & worked as Director (CM) in BSNL Corporate Office since May 2013 where he was responsible for the growth of the mobile business of GSM in BSNL. He is BE (Electronics & Communications) and is also MBA (Mktg.).

Sameer has managed 3 companies as the CEO with the last assignment being that of CEO - NDTV India. Earlier, launched and managed a newspaper for Times group and Hindustan Times as the President & Publisher. Lead Scholastic Corporation’s India operations as the Managing Director.
